This single-family home located on a steeply sloping plot in the Maresme adapts the architecture to the existing topography through a staggered implementation that respects the natural relief and enhances the relationship with the landscape. The project is organized through platforms, terraces and patios that connect the different levels of the plot, favoring views, cross ventilation and the entry of natural light. The ground floor concentrates the day spaces in a diaphanous environment where the living room, dining room and kitchen open directly to the outdoor spaces, generating a fluid continuity between interior and exterior.
House Mataró
The project combines natural materials and contemporary construction solutions to create a warm, serene and efficient atmosphere. Lime mortar cladding, exterior wood and laminated pine joinery bring comfort and identity to the home, while a highly insulated envelope, together with systems such as aerothermal, underfloor heating and photovoltaic support, contribute to reducing energy demand and improving thermal performance throughout the year. The terraces, garden areas and swimming pool are integrated into the natural slope of the plot, turning the outdoor spaces into a habitable extension of the house linked to the Mediterranean climate and outdoor life.
