The rehabilitation of this low-rise house in the urban fabric of Barcelona incorporates a rise that allows the living area to be expanded while respecting the scale and character of the original construction. The intervention combines the recovery of pre-existing elements with a light and contemporary extension, designed to optimize the entry of light and the relationship with the outside. The sleeping spaces are distributed between the two floors and are organized around a double central space that houses the living rooms and visually connects them with the patio. This vertical void promotes communication between floors and reinforces the feeling of spaciousness and spatial continuity. The use of natural materials and sustainable construction solutions contributes to creating an efficient, warm home adapted to contemporary lifestyles.
