It is in this context that our most recent architectural project in Sabadell was born: a multi-family residential building that focuses on health, energy savings, and a sense of community.

A través de una estrategia de diseño bioclimático y el uso de materiales saludables, estamos transformando el concepto de edificio plurifamiliar en el Vallès, demostrando que la densidad urbana es compatible con la alta calidad ambiental.

Actualmente en fase de construcción, este proyecto es el resultado de una visión transversal donde la arquitectura técnica, la ingeniería y la sostenibilidad trabajan juntas para reducir el impacto ambiental desde el primer día.Located in the heart of Sabadell, this three-story building aims not only to add square meters to the residential stock, but also to propose a more humane way of living. Through a bioclimatic design strategy and the use of healthy materials, we are transforming the concept of multi-family housing in the Vallès region, demonstrating that urban density is compatible with high environmental quality.

In any multi-family dwelling in Sabadell, managing light and air is the biggest challenge. In this project, the solution stems from a restored traditional element: the central courtyard.

This strategic void is not just an aesthetic decision; it is a piece of passive engineering that guarantees:

• Natural light in every room: We eliminate dark areas, allowing light to flood the heart of each home.
• Cross ventilation: Thanks to the courtyard, all homes benefit from natural air circulation, drastically reducing the need for mechanical cooling in summer.
• Community space: The courtyard acts as a social hub, fostering relationships between neighbors and reinforcing a sense of community—essential to the housing model we promote at Laboqueria Arquitectura.
