Training, work and rehabilitation of buildings in a program of the Neighborhood Plan in Trinitat Vella
Some twenty people rehabilitate these days common spaces of the Patronat apartment blocks, in the Trinitat Vella. They do so after having received 320-hour training in masonry, painting and installation work financed by the Neighborhood Plan. Half of those hired are residents of the same neighborhood and some of them even live in the flats in which they are working. The intention of the project is to improve the living conditions in these blocks while the final flats where the residents will be relocated in the future are not available and, at the same time, generate employment.
