Urban tenancy
On February 19th, our partner Ricard Grau participated in the Informative Session on Urban Tenancy (Masoveria Urbana), organized by the Housing Department of Solsona. It was a key meeting to discuss how this model can be a tool to rehabilitate unused homes and facilitate their access in a fair and sustainable way.
During the session, the cooperative Obrint Portes shared real experiences from municipalities such as Palau d’Anglesola and Igualada, where projects are being promoted that combine housing and economic activity through urban tenancy (masoveria urbana).
At Laboqueria Arquitectura, as part of our Repoblem project, we prioritize the rehabilitation and reuse of the existing building stock. Urban tenancy (masoveria urbana) and other models, such as usage-right cooperatives, are solutions that can transform the future of housing in a sustainable and accessible way.
