Combining material heritage with a sustainable energy vision, this renovation project in the Gràcia neighborhood aims to preserve the essence of the original building while transforming it into a contemporary and efficient home. The intervention integrates the existing structure with lightweight materials such as pine wood and linen fabric, softening spatial boundaries and improving thermal comfort through passive strategies.

Natural sunlight exposure has been optimized to reduce heating needs in winter, while the thick walls act as thermal regulators during the summer months, preventing overheating. The goal has been to create clear and functional spaces, with a strong respect for architectural heritage and a commitment to sustainability.
