Comunalitats Urbanes is a program that promotes a more equitable organization of the economy through cooperation and mutual support. It currently includes twenty-two communal groups across the territory, made up of businesses, cooperatives, organizations, and neighborhood networks. This program aims to generate new economic projects that respond to collective needs through self-organization, contributing to local development and strengthening the commons.

From La Traginera, the urban community of Ciutat Vella, we work to promote community networking in the Raval neighborhood and extend this positive impact throughout the district. Through citizen participation, we propose solutions in areas such as housing and energy sovereignty, fostering sustainable development and increasing the social capital of the territory.

We focus on improving housing to make it dignified, healthy, and affordable, exploring cooperation in energy rehabilitation. Additionally, we create networks among workers and local organizations to promote inter-cooperation in the construction sector, generating employment and ensuring generational renewal in this key area.

Our vision is based on strengthening the community through practices that place people’s lives at the center of the economy, fostering coexistence and collective well-being.
