The Boqueria market itself has its own regulatory regulations that had to be applied at the time of the reform of the CATALONIAN FOOD stop; Create a design language that exemplifies and intertwines modernity with history while enhancing the commercialization and visualization of the product.
Two objectives: create a sensation of breadth of the small stop and use traditional elements to establish a constructive order: wood, forging and ceramics. Wood, used for decorative elements, coating elements and false ceiling, allows a neutral and warm tone. Iron and stainless steel are used for the elements that have to withstand impacts while working areas and product support should be. And finally the ceramics, which accommodates the contact with the earth.
